It's amazing how many J-things one can find in the living room (especially after a day spent outside, getting one's brain baked...)!

So, that's "J" today. Tomorrow, J9...!

That's awesome--I love the Jeep shirt! Wonder where those images on the back came from-? Didn't H/B do at least a few Popeye cartoons? The bowtie is just wrong, no matter how you think of it.

(J is also for Jack Sparrow!)

Yikes, right you are! According to Wiki, H/B did the "The All-New Popeye Hour" (1978-81; then was cut to a half-hour and aired from 1981-83 as "The Popeye and Olive Show") and "Popeye and Son" (1987-88). Both had episodes in which the Jeep appeared (voiced by Don Messick in "Popeye and Son"; couldn't find a voice credit for "The All-New Popeye Hour" [maybe they recruited a coati mundi...?]).

Here's something kinda creepy: According to the Big Cartoon DataBase's episode guide for "The All-New Popeye Hour," Swee'pea *and* Poopeye, Pupeye, Pipeye, and Peepeye frequently appeared together in episodes!

Man oh man, those broke my brain! The "Wonder Six" one is especially weirdarocious: "You haven't? Well. Neither have I..." (But yet within it lurks such a great line: "They travel through space in a worn-out train that understands gravity better than the rest of us." Genius turns up in the darndest places...) Yowza, and looks like the bizarreness bonanza continues on the rest of the Enoki site...! Thanks for the links--this is gonna be great fun!
